32 amp power convertor

when using just 12 volt my panel indicator says battery charging when its not and i plug in shoreline to 120 outlet the only way convertor will work is to have something pluged into a recepticle in camper.as soon as i unplug it the convertor stops..any suggestions

First thing I would suggest is to test all connection points in the distribution panel and then at the converter charger.

It could be the solar charger (very small) on the roof that is producing just a bare trickle.
