we currently have a 4 dr frig in our coach. anyone ever trade one out for a 2 dr model... thinking we would pick up a pantry beside the 2 dr. seems odd to trade down, but just like to know if anyone has done it and are you glad you did?

I'd think carefully about trading down to a 2 door. I'd look for another solution rather than lose frig space.

As Rick said the big fridge comes in handy and its only my wife and I now. A small 2 door will really make you think where am I going to put all this stuff.
Not sure what you have for space but you can always add a couple of cabinets and shelf for more storage.

I always open the wrong side of a 4 door to get what I want. But, I sure would hate to give up the beer space.

We had a 2 door refrigerator in our first coach and a 4 door in our current coach.

We prefer the 4 door as it has an ice maker and more freezer storage space. However, we got along OK with our 2 door, just couldn't put as much stuff in it as we can in the 4 door, so it resulted in more frequent restocking.

If you feel you have a need more pantry space than refrigerator/freezer space, then I would base my decision accordingly.

Good luck

We looked at upgrading to a 4 door and decided we did not want to loose the pull out pantry shelves. So we upgraded our 2 door fridge from an 8cuft to a 10. Really did make a difference. The 4 door fridges are only 12 so we are half way there. The New Dimensions line puts a lot more space in the same cabinet dimension by using much thinner vaccume panels for insulation than the foam in the other models.
