50 AMP surge protector
I am looking for recommendations for a resettable 50 AMP surge protector that I can hard wire into my electrical circuit. By resettable I mean if the circuit breaker trips, I can reset the surge protector and not have it fried and have to buy another one.

Most have a one trip protection system. As for hardwired system protection, the best is the Progressive EMS-HW 50 for 50 amps.

I have the Progressive, built-in. It's not resettable but the board can be replaced.
If I was looking today (3 1/2 years later) I'd also be looking at the Hughes Power Watchdog (as mentioned by Shootist). Like the Progressive it has a replaceable surge board, but also has bluetooth for anytime monitoring of the power coming into the coach. Time will tell if it's as good as or better than the progressive.

Just plugged in the bluetooth power watchdog. Didn't sync it to my phone first , nor did I write down the serial number for the warrenty reg. So two trips outside later it's done. Simple to install the app, 30.00$ for the surge board if it blows, doesn't kill your power if it does. Called tech support, a man answered the phone right away, walked me through syncing it. Watts and amps dont match up in the real low usage end. Will show 70 watts and 1.2 amps one leg and .2 the other. Higher draws it seems fine.

My TRC SurgeGuard, hardwired 50amp unit, has served me well for the past 15 years. My current coach has a transfer switch which incorporates surge protection, and the power monitor keeps me informed on the volts/amps on each incoming power leg.
