bandmbrown Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Posts: 212	is there any reason i can't/shouldn't use my 50 amp portable surge protector with a 50 to 30 connector on a 30 amp park line. thanks __________________

wa8yxm Senior Member Workhorse Chassis Owner Damon Owners Club Join Date: Mar 2009 Posts: 6,973	Well... not only is there no reason NOT to use a 50 amp surge protector when hooked to 30 amp power.... It will work BETTER than a 30 amp unit. The reason is that a 50 amp unit is nearly 4 times better at suppressing spikes __________________ Home is where I park it!
