5K Emerald plus shuts down

The generator in my 99 Damon daybreak will shut down after about 20 minutes of running, it will do this regardless if there is a load on it or not. it will start right back up after shut down but will not stay running until after it has been allowed to cool sit not running for some time.
It has good fuel, fuel pump is working like it should, has a new ignition coil and oil and filter has been changed.
when running it runs like a champ with or with load.
What should I check next?

I had 5500. Fuel pumps can cause intermittent stopping. Unless the oil was filled to the tippy top, the low oil sensor would shut down the Genny.
