Johnson Controls makes Sears,Costco,Sams,Autozone, and Interstate batteries ,etc..

Johnson Controls made my interstate U-2200's and I'm very happy with them.. From what I've read from folks who bought at Costco..

Well.. I've not read any bad things, let's put it that way.. Read lots of good reports though.

While I can not comment directly on teh Johnson-Control label.. They do make Intersteate.. and interstates, i"m told should last 7-8years

Trojan's around 10

The difference in life is thus 20%

The price difference is much,much,greater.

I evaluated Costco vs. Sam's Club batteries. I went with Sam's because they have more nation wide coverage. You can't find Costco in some states, Texas comes to mind (at elat the last time that I was there).

Costco is all over Texas now. Johnson Controls makes way more stuff than batteries, particularly sophisticated electronic controls/switches. I would not worry about them as the mfg.
