I was wondering if someone could help me. I have an 86 fleetwood and when I run the a/c condensation begins to form and drips into the camper and on to the seating area. I also noticed this in a pop up that I own ,but it is much worse in the fleetwood.I was wondering what I could do to stop this.

Bill you might take the A/C cover off and check to see if the drain hole is blocked off with debris. If you look at the discoloration on the roof where the water drains off from the A/C you should be able to locate the drain and clear it.

Also check the condenser and evaporator coil and make sure that they are clean. If the evap. get dirty it could cause water blow back from the evap fan and cause it to drop into the camper.

Hope this helps you solve your problem.

Around the same lip where the shroud screws attach, you'll find several small drain holes. They can get plugged quite easily with debris. While the shroud is off, clean the inside of the tray. Remove the secondary shroud covering the condenser coil and clean the small tray under the coil. Your 1986 RV may require a new sponge rubber "donut" seal between the A/C and the roof too. The A/C seal is easily replaced. The hold-down bolts should be finger-tight only, over-tightening the wing nuts can actually cause a water leak by the seal.
