A/C won't turn off

CatWoman1121 Member Join Date: Aug 2010 Location: Cornelius, NC Posts: 62	I have them on "auto" - usually when inside temp reaches whatever temp I have them set for, 78 for example, they shut off. Inside temp says 79 and I have put the desired temp on a/c thermostat to 82 and they won't turn off. Both units are doing this. Yes, they are set to "auto." bluepill Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2011 Location: NY & FL Posts: 841	Try turning the thermostat to "OFF" for 5 minutes, then back "ON".
