AC breaker tripping

I was having ac troubles last week. I bought a new ac and now it keeps tripping the breaker.
The new ac is a Dometic Brisk Air II, 15k BTU.
The old ac was a Dometic 15k BTU as well, but that one didn't trip the breaker.

If you can think of any reason why it's doing this on the new ac and not the old one, I'd like to hear it as well as any suggestions on how to fix it.

Thanks

First, is it tripping the AC breaker in the RV panel ?
Does it do it quick ?

That would be a problem with the wiring.

I'd check the wiring at and around the new AC. Years ago I had a new travel which I had used a number of times at different campgrounds before I plugged into a park receptacle that had a GFCI. The 30 amp breaker at the pedestal kept tripping. It turns out that my new AC had a bare spot on a wire which grounded out on part of the AC housing. It had come from the factory like that.

Yes, it's tripping in the rv panel. I was putting in one of the long bolts and I saw i scraped one of the wires. It exposed it and I saw a few sparks. Maybe I should wrap it with electrical tape and see if that helps

Yup, any sparks are a bad thing. Pull it apart and clear up the wiring.

If the breaker tripping issue isn't fixed by taping the wire, put your hand on the breakers that are tripping to see how warm they are. If they are really warm they trip. There is a 140 degree thermostat in some power converters that can go bad and the fan may not be kicking on; might even be the fan not working. The breakers shouldn't be hot.
