I have a 42 foot 2006 Travel Supreme. The dash AC hose from the rear engine AC compressor to the front of the RV has a hole about 2 feet from the engine. The hose is Goodyear Galaxy 4867, 3/4 in ID (19 mm). I cannot find any shop within 100 miles that has this hose or can crimp this hose. Everyone in Maine uses Gates hose, fittings and crimp dies. One shop tried to splice a Gates hose section to the Goodyear hose and it leaked.

Evans Tempcon (dash AC maker) is trying to determine the parts I need and determine a way to splice.

In case I have to replace the entire 45-50 feet of hose, does anyone know what model of Gates AC hose to use?

Thanks, Tom

I cant help with the Gates number but I just replaced one length of my A/C hose (all 38 feet). Bought the hose with fittings from Cline Hose and Hydraulics, 601 Buncome St Greenville SC 864-233-7104. Web site Cline Hose & Hydraulics, LLC.• Home
They are very helpful and may be able to give you a cross reference number.
Wish I could offer more help.

I talked to Evans Tempcon, who makes the dash heater / AC unit. For parts, they recommended Comfort Air Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI. Comfort Air did have all the Goodyear hose fittings and hose that I needed. Their website is Comfort Air, Inc. Home Page

To replace the compressor end of the Goodyear 3/4 inch ID suction hose on my 2006 TS DS04 400 Cummings, I needed:
BL012119, ¾” thin wall Goodyear barrier hose
RV218669 ¾” hose splice
RV218728, 90D fitting, compressor end

Accoring to Evans Tempcon, these fittings can be crimped with any #12 crimp machine, even one designed for Gates hoses.

Hope this helps others in the future.

Tom
