Smile AC Question

Hi all, have run into a problem with my AC units. We are plugged into Shore Power, 30 Amp. When we turn on the AC we get a warning light showing Low Power. And neither one will power up.

This is a 1987 Holliday Rambler Motor Home.
Thanks in Advance

The power source has low voltage and the AC unit has a relay that is not closing due to this issue. Ask whomever is responsible for the power source to correct the problem or move you to a location with the correct operating voltage. Motors do not like low voltage and this protection device keeps you from burning up motors with a low voltage issue.
Good luck and keep us posted.

You may want to start your generator to see if you still have the problem. This will tell you that the problem is with the shore power side of your transfer switch or the shore power is inadequate. Something to try without disconnecting shore power.

Are you runing two ACs on 30amp? You have more than 30amp with two ACs running at the same time especially on start up.
