AC Replacement Dometic Brisk AIr

Has anyone replaced their OEM Dometic Brisk air Duo-Therm AC with one of the Newer Brisk Air 2 units? I'm wondering if it would be plug and play? Here are some details on what I have:

I have a Glendale Titanium 25e30 5th wheel made in 2008 with a Briskair DuoTherm 520316.506D air conditioner. The rooftop unit is damaged and I would like a recommendation for a unit compatible with the Atwood Hydro Flame Mod. 2h2c 2 stage furnace (digital) thermostat, which controls both the AC and furnace. This unit is ducted and uses a Dometic 236183 electronic control box for the wiring input from the thermostat and freeze control sensor. The inside section appears in good condition, so I'm hoping it could be reused, if that will save me any money. I'm thinking about a new Brisk Air B59516.XX1C0 as a replacement.

Any input would be appreciated.

The best, most accurate answer could be provided by Dometic. Unless someone has the identical A/C, furnace, and thermostat, combination, everyone else's suggestion is only worth the money you paid for it.

I've been in touch with Dometic, Camping World, and another large RV parts place. They all have different answers and they take a long time to come up with an answer. The Dometic web site is fairly worthless at determining what accessories (thermostats, control boxes, strip heaters, etc...) are needed with each system.

So far, I've ordered a Brisk Air 2 unit with ceiling controls. That way I'll have something that is simple and works. I'll plug it in to my existing control box and see if that works. If it does, I'm good. Otherwise, I'll figure which control box is needed and which thermostat will work. So far I've been advised to purchase several types of control systems. Don't see the need to purchase multi zone systems with fancy thermostats, when I only need single zone control of one AC and furnace (no heat pump or heat strip).
