AC won't blow air

We have a 2008 Allegro 32LA. Neither the front or rear AC units blow air. It sounds like the compressors come on but the fans don't start. When I place the control on fan only, they still don't blow any air. I've checked the breaker in the bedroom for both units and in the front bay directly in front of the door, there is a breaker (?) with a small button on the side which I've pushed in but still no luck. We have had some very cold temps. lately but the motor home is covered so I doubt that ice/snow could have gotten into the units. Prior to the extreme cold weather the heat pump worked find.

Thanks,
RJ

The fan motors may be held by mud dobbers, wasp nest, or even stuck from corrosion. Access the top side fan blade and see if it will turn freely.

Does it act the same way whether you are on the generator or shore power? I had a similar situation but it only occurred intermittently when I was was running the genny. As it turned out the genny had a bad stator and a bad inverter in it. (I didn't even know the genny's had inverters in them). Got it repaired and all's well and good. Hopefully yours is something much simpler.

I recently had the same problem. Squirted some 3in1 oil on fan shaft of both units, hand turned fan until it moved easily and now all is working well.

Thanks to all. Something has eaten through both front and rear AC covers and tore the fan wires off. Not sure if it was a squirrel or a rat. There were 3 babies but couldn't tell what they were. Not sure how a rat could have gotten up there so probably a squirrel. My problem now is how to keep it from returning.

Thanks again,
RJ

Stand on the roof of the rig and holler ;" Squirrely squirrely go away, please come back another day." If that doesn't work, try mothballs. Need to prevent the smell from entering the rig, though.

I find that a .22 pellet gun works great for pesky critters i find messing with my rigs. From time to time i'll also lay down some of those large rat traps.

On a side note, they do make some little bags that you can hang up to repel squirrels if you wish to be nice about it.
