Adding 110 to Suburban water heater SW6D

Has anyone done this conversion? I'd like to add an element to my water heater to allow use of 110 when available.

Thanks
Terry

A kit is made that you can add it to the water heater...Check HERE on RV Upgrades one of our sponsors.

Thanks Ken, exactly what I had in mind. Now to convince the wife we'll save $110 in propane over the life of the MH.

Two good reasons for running your water heater on AC instead of propane;

1. Reduces propane use, resulting in less hassle in refilling propane.
2. More dependable than propane. No flame to go out.

A bonus;

You can heat water faster with both AC and propane for faster recovery. The wife can take longer showers.
