Adding 2nd A/C

I am getting ready to add an air conditioner in the BR of our 5er. I want to stay with Dometic since that's what is in the living area. I wanted to use the Dometic Penguin 13.5K to keep the height as low as possible, but an RV tech told me that he does not like the Penguin, saying everything is too packed in, not allowing good air circulation. He doesn't think they are as reliable as the Dometic Brisk Air. There is about 3" difference in the height of the two units. My RV is already 12'2" high, so the Brisk Air would put me at about 13'3". I have heard that the minimum overpass clearance for main roads in the US is 13'6". That puts me uncomfortaby close! Have any of you had experience with the Dometic Penguin?

We've lived with our 13'2" tall 5th wheel for over 7 years with no height problems in our travels. Granted, there may still be some low clearance situations on a few backroads, but if there are, the 3" difference in height you mention (13'3" versus 13'0") isn't going to matter.

If you are going to spend the money for a new one.
Getting one with the heat pump may be worth the extra $$$ if you stay in campgrounds with electric included.
