Neither my wife nor I can get on our hands & knees to light the oven in our motorhome. We have looked into replacing our microwave with a combinaton convetion/microwave, but can't seem to find one with the dimensions we need. Does anyone know of an aftermarket automatic ignitor for a Magic Chef oven? Has anyone installed one?

I've wondered if a BBQ grill peizo-electric igniter will work. When I get aroundtuit I'll set one temporarily to see how this will work real-time. I have doubts about the wire insulation withstanding oven heat. Even if it does work, I'll still need a telescoping mechanic's mirror to see if the pilot is lit.

I made it easier by placing a small mirror in the bottom of the oven under the pilot light assembly. I was able to light the pilot by bending over, rather than laying on the floor.
