Air Pressure Not coming up

Years ago, I was instructed how to use a wrench to "temporarily" fix the air blowing out of the bottom of the [dryer?]. It ended up being a permanent fix, or lasted about 8 years. I can't remember what was done. Can someone remind me? The pressure does not go beyond 30 psi. I believe this to be the auto blow-off but not 100% sure. It is the +/- 12" dia w X 15 h with plastic open covering device screwed to the center bottom where the air is escaping. The "fix" was something simple and I'm missing it.

You should service the air dryer. They clog up.

Find the tag and get a rebuild kit for It. If you don't do that kind of stuff, its time to hire someone to do it.
