this model has sealed surface burners; user manual advises "surface burners are secured to the cooktop and are NOT to be removed by the consumer". The ignitors beneath the burners do not start the burners;
when using a match the burners ignite but burn unevenly. The burners must have been removed by previous unit owner (probably for cleaning) and turn freely on the cooktop surface. Various parts suppliers
offer replacement sealed burners, but I'm concerned that a replacement
burner will not solve the problem since they will not be sealed to the cook-
top. Does anyone have any knowledge of this issue?

egjhussey, welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy the website and forums.
It sounds like the holes in the burners are clogged and need to be cleaned out. You can use a tooth pick to clean them out. Try to prevent spills or boil overs that can drip onto the burners. If cleaning does not correct the problem, then I would have the lp gas pressure checked. I don't think this will be the case if the refrigerator works ok on gas mode.Good luck and let us know how you do on this issue.
