Another Atwood 8525 problem...

Hopefully someone will have a clue about this one...

My Atwood 8525 III will not ignite the burner when it's cold outside

The last couple of days it's been below freezing here in CO and the furnace would not ignite. Now that it's 50's outside it's back to working as normal. Is it possessed?

The fan must be moving enough air to close the sail switch. This signals the control board that air flow is fast enough to move the heated air inside and the exhaust outside. In cold weather, a marginal fan motor might not spin fast enough to trigger the control board to open the gas valve and spark ignition.

The motor is brand new. The furnace was cleaned at that time.
