Another item in the RV that I don't know what it does.

Hi guys this is mounted just below the steering wheel to the right and I have no idea what it does. I thought it was some kind of turn signal indicator but it really doesn't do anything. Possibly a tire monitor? But I don't have anything connected to the rims. If someone could tell me what this does I would be in their debt.Click image for larger version

Could it be a warning light that someone is in your blind spot. I dont see your coach listed so not sure what your rig is.

It looks like a side collision avoidance but not entirely sure?

It's a 2007 dynamax isata. I never notice it flashing. But then again I'm not that experienced so I usually keep my eyes on the road when passing somebody.

For starters I would suggest you dismount that little indicator and look for some identification info on the back. Then call the company that made it and ask THEM what the heck it is. They likely have some inkling.

Yep, looks like an after market blind spot monitor.
I go with JFXG's recommendation, but modify it just a little. If you can see, or take a picture of, the back - and if there are any model numbers on it do a Google search for the numbers to see what gets returned.

Pull a car into the blind spot and see if the indicator signals the cars presence.

I took it apart and nothing on the back. I do not think it's hooked up correctly

Looks like a blind spot monitor to me. Are there any round sensors towards the rear of the coach?
