Another Samsung Fridge Retrofit
I just finished installing a Samsung residential fridge in my motorhome. It was a tad complex, so I wanted to share the details of the install with those that are interested.
Here is a link to a file that I uploaded to the forum's library, detailing the work involved.

Craig, you are going to hate the refer. The ice cream is so hard you can't get it out of the carton!
Here is what I use to keep the doors shut on the road.

Great idea for securing the samsung refer doors. We just had ours installed yesterday and the issue of the doors came up. I used a bungee cord to get home.
What is the material you used to make this piece?
Thanks,
mike & vicki

Beautiful install Craig. You are going to love the fridge. You'll kick yourself for ever putting up with the old one and not doing it sooner.

Craig,
Very good job. I particularly like the pads along the sides. If my installation ever shows any signs of too much sway, I will retro-fit it with this concept. I also like your idea of using a remote-controlled switch for the on and off. I have one in our Christmas decorations that I might just break out and use for this. (I planned on using the circuit breaker in the bedroom if I leave it on the AC line.)
Enjoy,
Bob

UPDATE:
I used my new Samsung fridge this weekend for the first time, dry camping in the desert. Love love love this fridge! Kept all of my beer and soda at a crisp 36 degrees. I ran it overnight on the inverter, and I still had 70% battery power left after 10 hours. This is with four 6V Interstate house batteries and a Magnum 2000W inverter/charger. Best upgrade I've made to date!
