Our new Thor Freedom Elite 30FE came with a Furrion Oven/Stovetop combo. The Oven door makes it look as if the oven space will be similar to a large toaster oven but inside most of that space is taken up with the gas heating element which sits very high in the base of the oven. It looks like they could have easily lowered it by about 2 inches. The lighting mechanism takes some effort to get the oven lit, but once it's lit it heats and bakes quite well for cookies, tortillas and warming pizza. The big disappointment for us is that the actual usable baking area, even on the lowest rack setting is only about 3.5 inches high by 16.5 inches wide. If you use the oven primarily for pizza, thin casseroles and things that don't rise much it's a good oven but if you want to bake anything with any height to it like cakes, muffins, breads, chicken or anything else with some height to it this may not be the oven for you. Baking items that rise is a real challenge. It's hard not to burn the tops, stick the tops to the oven or scrape the tops when pulling them out. It's not a bad oven but it's obviously not the oven for me. I don't know how to put a photo in here. I clicked on add a photo and it requested a URL. Since the photos are not yet posted I don't have a URL. Maybe I can put them in my blog if you need them.
