We have the Whirlpool stackable W/D in our coach and the washer does not want to turn off.

After completing a wash cycle, it once again begins to fill with water and repeats this over and over. So we keep the lip propped up to use the dryer and then flip the circuit off when done for now. We are travelling F/T and thought the forum might have some ideas or an easy fix. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Our first unit would go through a wash cycle and then never spin. After three different tech from two different service centers in different cities tried to fix it, Whirlpool gave up and had Duncan RV repair center in Elkhart replace it with a new unit.

Have seen that the 08 Newmar stackables use Maytag as opposed to Whirlpool, but I understand they are the same company now. So far we have been underwhelmed by Whirlpool and had much better luck with Splendide in the past.

The timer will need replacing. Probably a set of points are welded together. A Whirlpool dealer can change it without removing it from the closet very easily.

Thanks for the tip...will look at that timer and see if we can get a repairman to pop a new one in.
