Anyone ordered from getrvparts.com? Your experience?

Anyone ordered from getrvparts.com? If so, what was your experience? Their website does not list any phone number or an address. Red flags to me.

Well, one day past and no replies from 53 views. That gives me a loud and clear answer. Run, don't walk.

I would still not buy from them. BBB Customer Reviews are pretty bad.

Let me comment. I consider it a good find. GF's 5th wheel has a Dometic fridge and the light hasn't worked since she got it. I like things to work so did trouble shooting and it's the switch itself. So I go online and Dometic wants $35 for this dinky little switch. Amazon the same. Further research finds the entire assembly, switch, housing, lens, bulb, plastic rivets at GetRVParts for $25. I gave it shot and on January 19, Sunday I ordered. Yesterday Wednesday January 22 it arrived in Alabama. In my book that's pretty good service. Only glitch is the USPS didn't have tracking information even though it showed as in their possession in CA.

USPS issue, not Get Rv Parts problem.

Better if you bet on the horses

I ordered from them a year ago and all went well. This time, not so much. They do not list a phone number. They do not respond to emails. They do not ship parts. They DO take your money.

Maybe they changed hands, or the kids got involved, but I will not be ordering from them in the future. Live and learn. Can not even trust what they did the last time.

Elsewhere on this forum I posted about ordering a 200-odd dollar part from them. The automated ordering system worked and took my payment. That was it. There seems to be no one actually there. I used Paypal. After about a month even Paypal said they couldn't get any kind of response from them and refunded my payment.

STAY AWAY! Not sure how Paypal still allows these guys to charge people for items. Same experience though. No product, no communication. Just take the money and nothing. PayPal refunded me though.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined us!

Thanks to all for the heads-up on this rip-off company! That's the reason I always use PayPal when available!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Paypal

Paypal is not reliable when it comes to getting you a refund. I ordered a 50 amp cord from a company called Litchace. After about 3 weeks I finally got a small package from them with 3 virus mask. They just lie every email say they are working on shipping it. Long story short they are a scam. I paid them with Paypal. I turned a claim into Paypal for a refund. They said it would take 30 days for refund which has come and gone with no refund. Now Paypal says another 2 weeks. As soon as that date comes they say another 2 weeks. You cannot get anyone on the phone at Paypal either. Needless to say I have lost faith in Paypal.

Agree. Do not rely on Paypal for protecting your purchase. Getting a refund is hit or miss. The only reason I buy through them is to keep my CC number from getting out on the sellers website.

I had the exact same experience over a camera tripod. First if all it was a google ad that gave the impression you are buying from a US based company. It wasn’t until I saw the receipt from paypal that it was going to a chinese name with a gmail address. 5 weeks pass, I complain to PayPal and I get told that the item is in transit. A week later I get 3 masks in the mail. I complain to PayPal again and am told the seller says the item is in transit and I can’t file a claim. I immediately called my CC issuer and had a back charge initiated.
Then I get an email from PayPal saying they can no longer help me with my claim because of the charge back. If I want their help I have to rescind the charge back. Too bad for them, I already got my money back.

I placed an order with GetRvparts.com on June 24. I used PayPal and they took the money. The item never shipped and they never responded to my emails and the phone number on the website is bogus.
I did some digging and found out where they operate out of.
McBride’s RV
13788 Oaks Ave
Chino, CA 91710
Phone: 909-627-7566
When they answer the phone ask for the getrvparts.com department. Finally spoke with a person that said my parts had just come in and they would ship them. This was now July 18. Received the tracking number from USPS and it shows picked up in Chino, CA but for some reason it is still sitting there.
The BBB ratings are correct. This is a horrible company to do business with. I will give it another week and then cancel the order. Hopefully, PayPal will refund.

Pretty ironic I would see this thread as two days ago I purchased an oil filter "Baldwin" brand and an air filter for my workhorse 8.1 engine. Out the door price $116.64. This from McBrides in Chino. Something has gone wrong with that place. Had previous good experience with them. Won't be back.
