Anyone use the Honeywell 1000i Generator?

I am thinking of getting the Honeywell generator and I was wondering if anyone else uses them and their thoughts. I have additional needs when I dry camp (i.e. CPAP) which tells me I will need to run the coach generator a few times during the week to recharge the GC batteries. Besides, I plan to watch movies more often and having a small generator a distance from the RV would be better for my listening pleasure. My calculations show that I should be able to charge the batteries, run the fridge and run a LED 32" TV (next project) off the little guy while burning 1/10 of a gallon of gas an hour (50cc 4 stroke). I wouldn't expect the Honeywell to power the microwave so I would have to change out the plug and run the coach generator. My plan is to run the Honeywell a few hours a day to charge the batteries. Let me know what you think. This generator is only $250 at Amazon so I don't expect too much.

A they appear to be rather noisy
B a number of the reviews on Amazon, poor longevity
"11-15-10 The story continues: The generator stopped working after approximately 25 hrs. I took it to a small engine mechanic who worked on it for about 1 month. He could not get parts, nor could he determine exactly what was the cause of the problem. He told me there was no support or help that he could find from the company. He felt it was an electronic problem. We agreed to throw it in the trash and chalk it up to a dumb decision. He subsequently recommended a Honda Generator. "
C $350 on Amazon
D the gas consumption is very optimistic
