Apollo oven combo

I have a halftime combo microwave, oven, convection. The stem that the little piece that turns the glass tray broke off flush with the metal bottom of the oven. Hope that's not too confusing, but kind of hard to explain. I have a warranty/insurance policy on all the appliance's, but being as I'm 1k miles from home wanted to wait until I get back to have it fixed so it doesn't sit at an RV dealer for an unknown period of time ruining my vacation. The oven, and microwave work, just the turntable doesn't turn. I thought about gluing it back together with a small piece of wood dowel in the middle for support. It appears to be some kind of composite, or plastic. Not sure which. First of all do you think I should just use it the way it is until I get home, or try to temporarily fix it. Secondly do you think me putting a band aid on it would be an issue with the warranty claim whenever I get home. Plan to be home around September. Unit is a 2008 coachman Concord. Also not sure which type of glue would be best. Gorilla glue out because of expansion. Maybe some type of epoxy? Thanks, Bob

Update: I called talked to my "home", dealer svc mngr he said no problems with warranty if I wanted to temporarily fix it till I got home. Got a small piece of wood dowel shaved down, glued it inside of both broken pieces. Let it sit for about 24 hrs. So far, so good. Turns fine.
