Depends upon whether your system has heating in the floors or just at heat exchangers with fans blowing the warm air around. There is also a wired thermostat in the boiler area that can leak - but to access it you'll need to pull the cover. How low is it? Was it ever low before since you've owned the coach?

Hot, there is about 1/2" in rhe expansion tank. I've only owned this rig for a couple of weeks, but dont see any drips anywhere.
The antifreeze the dealership sent me is Camco Boiler -100 Antifreeze. States on the label "Not for alluminum"
Anyone know if the Aqua-Hot 450D is alluminum ?

No heated floors, just the baseboard heat exchangers.

I have the TwinTemp rather than AquaHot, but I've found that you get some evaporation from the expansion tank. I'm actually not sure if the antifreeze evaporates or only the water (I think only water). If only the water evaporates , antifreeze may not be needed, just water. Anybody know for sure?

Aqua Hot recommends the Camco Boiler Antifreeze. Just to make sure they did send you exactly what is recommended, call AquaHot with that gallon in hand.

Additionally, since you have no history on this unit I suggest before adding any to the system that you have it's PH and glycol percentage tested so you know exactly what needs added. For example, if the glycol level is too low and you add a pre-mixed 50/50 solution your freeze protection may still not be low enough, and your boiling point may not be high enough. The opposite can occur if the glycol level is too high - having too much glycol it can also freeze. AquaHot recommends a 50/50 ratio which keeps the freezing point at around -28 and the boiling point at about 225 degrees.

The fact that it's level is low should be a concern at this point until some other questions are answered. The antifreeze does "gas" if the glycol ratio is less than 50/50 and will vent from the expansion tank which can cause the liquid level to become low over time. It's also possible that the thermostat on the boiler is faulty causing the system to exceed the boiling point of the current mixed ratio thus gassing the antifreeze over time.

Knowing the PH and glycol levels in your system at present will help you determine if you need to adjust the current glycol levels by adding a 50/50 mix, 100% glycol, or (if it's too high already), it may just need de-ionized/distilled water added.
