Aqua hot problem

Aqua hot 400 is over fueling. Changed the nozzle, filter, set the electrodes. It worked but smoked while running badly. Pulled the unit and it was sootted up pretty bad again. Fuel solinoid clicks and fuel draws into the unit and has good return but won't build up pressure except when it spikes at the very last of the cycle for an instant. Shined light on sensor.

Any ideas where my problem is?
Don't want to throw parts at for no reason.

Thanks

Pointrow

Noted you didn't have any responses yet - I've found that the techs on the Aqua-Hot Service Desk are pretty good at diagnostics - should be worth a phone call ...

Other than that I can't share anything of value ...

Join Roger Burkes Aqua Hot forum. He gives excellent advice and also sells parts very reasonable.
My guess is you may have a weak/bad pump. Best of luck!

Have you checked the fuel pressure?
