Arp help !!
Bought the ARP unit with 2 fans, circuit breaker and relay for my 2007Dometic NDA1402 refrigerator with ice maker and water dispenser.
Does anyone know of a place to get this installed in the DFW area?
I tried to figure out how to do it, but I can't figure which wire is for the frig controller. I have the correct Dometic schematic and looked at the ARP website instructions and video. Looks nothing like what I have behind the refrigerator.
I have 120 v going into the lower right side of the circuit board, a 12ga pair of wires (black and white) going to the 12V DC terminal block. Then a black wire going from terminal block to ground, but one red wire goes to the thermofuse on the flue section and another red wire (16ga) that goes straight up to who knows where..........?
The circuit board assy has no protective cover nor is there any way to cover it. It has wires and plugs everywhere.
I know how to read prints and schematics but this one has me baffled. On the baffle removal panel for the flue are multiple schematics.........so they aren't sure what goes where either.
I need help for sure.

There are TWO circuit boards. the one you are looking at is a Terminal Board, the control board is to the left along the wall.
I plan to tie into the power lead to teh interior light. But that's my choice.

The guy at ARP was great to help me when I was installing the device! I think his name was Mike, but don't remember for sure. I would give him a call. He might answer even on Saturday!

Have a few questions:
1) Are you the 'original' owner?
2) If original.....what did you do with the cover for power board. It comes OEM with one (can be PITA to remove/install due to wires/cables going to the interface box)
3) Do you hear FAN(s) running when temps get warm??
(That 'extra' RED wire coming off DC Terminal Block and goes UP----could be to aftermarket fans)------it is not OEM
ARP install is a bit different on NDA1402 due to 'defrost heater' high amperage draw.....have to install a 'clamped coil relay' for install
Plus you have the Over-Temp Stack thermal fuse also......which is why you have different wire schematics on flue shield

Unfortunately, what you see is the way I bought it. I'm not the first owner so there is no terminal board cover.
egwilly, yes that is the ARP website data I was using (looked at all of it and the video).
Is that left side 12dc burner control box just for the propane system?
I just can't figure what wire powers the controller. the wire color codes just don't match the factory schematics, which I have...........driving me crazy.
Its a wiring mess for sure. IF I get past step 1, do each of these fans need separate fuses too?
I'll try calling ARP on Monday. If that doesn't help I guess I may as well sell this ARP kit and just take my chances or go residential refrigerator (and I just had the windshield replaced so they can remove it again to install a frig)
The current Dometic works fine.

Paul, the inventor of the ARP is very helpful. Call him and see if he’ll look at the pictures. He installed mine (Norcold) in Quartzsite so I can’t help but I’m sure he’ll try.
