Atwood G6A-7E circuit board diagnostic help needed

I have an Atwood G6A-7E water heater in my 94' Dutchmen TT. My water heater functions as it should when plugged into shore power but will not fire on gas. I have...

1. Verified my battery is fully charged and tightly connected
2. Have a full LP tank that is connected and open
3. I have a solid verified ground

When the switch in the TT is turned on the light turns off and then back on after a moment. At the unit a click can be heard and and gas can be smelled, but no spark. Using my multimeter I have 12V coming into circuit board on the brown wire, but when switched on only .25V is going to the ignitor.

How can I test to verify that the expensive circuit board has actually failed? OHMS test?

TIA,
John

Go to the Atwood website. It was very helpful when my water heater would not ignite.

Not sure how many times you tried to light it, but if you ran out completely and refille the tank or if in storage for a time, it may be an air gap in the line and needs to be flushed out by repeated lighting attempts.

The final answer on this is the circuit board had failed. Upon replacement the gas side of the water heater functions as it should!
