I just ran across Atwood for the first time in my shopping/searching project. How do they compare with Dometic and the others? Particularly in furnaces...

I did not know that Atwood now has a 16 gal water heater. The last I knew the largest is a 12 gal. Atwood has been around for many years and seems to be ok. I think I would prefer the Suburban over the Atwood but my opinion and a dollar will get me a cup of coffee!

There is a model GE16-EXT, but it is a 10 gallon tank with a heat exchanger. Maybe that is supposed to make it equivalent to 16 gallons???

The only place I can find any reference to it is: Atwood GE16-EXT

The Atwood web site has no useful info at all on the various models.
