Atwood Level Legs Broken Pin Need a Gearbox

So today after camping we get home and try to level the motorhome to unpack. I back it in and level it everything works fine. I go to retract the legs to reposition the motorhome and the passenger rear retracts and stops the motor just spins. I remove the leg and take it apart to find one of the main gear pins has shattered. [Mod Edit] It seems like a shame to replace an entire leg for just the gearbox. I will call atwood monday if not. TIA

Atwood is now Dometic, anyway, without knowing the jack model all I can suggest is to try here: https://www.arizonarvpartscenter.com...arts-s/533.htm

sorry the part # is 66070 or 66544 they upgraded the 66070 to the 66544 I know it has rotation sensors on it but I dont know what else is different. I called REV and the legs are discontinued. they told me Dometic bought Atwood and they have no intention of making atwood parts. I called Dometic and they say the same thing no more new ones. by the time I was done I was talking with Lippert, I dont know if they are a part of Dometic or not. they say the last part # from atwood was 66370 and the last from Lippert was 678259 but a google search didnt produce much with these. so I wonder what a person does when the used supply runs out change out the complete level system ouch

I went to your link but they dont have the part I need here is a pic of what broke. thanks

Next week I am replacing my 2006 Atwood jacks with HWH. I have had to replace the power controller 4 times at $512 each. Controller is no longer available. If you want one or more of the jacks. Personal Message me and you can have as many as you want for the packing and shipping charge. They will be available for shipping 8/23/18.

I was able to send a front and rear jack to tignaz1 and another pair to another person. I took them to UPS store and call the receiver. They paid for packing and shipping.

Hopefully, the readers can do something similar to help other RVers.

I received two of the jacks for the cost of shipping and am also greatfull for Mrboyer's thoughtfulness and willingness to help rather than discarding the levelers.

Replaced Atwood Legs

We replaced our Atwood system with an Equalizer system last week in Elkhart. They sent the legs and keypad back with us. We were advised to sell them + shipping if possible. If anyone is interested just PM me..... I have no idea about the price, please let me know. Shipping will be from KC area.

I'm looking for a replacement for an Atwood levelegs control pad #66273. Mine is working but I must push the buttons repeatably to get them to function so it's just a mater of time.

Any opinion on what to get if I replace the whole system?

HWH. I replaced my Atwood LevelLegs about two months ago. Best thing I have done. $6,518. Wish I had done it 4 power control boards ago. They were $512 each, and I did the removal and install

Parts for these things are as scace as hen's teeth. You do have the pin from the other side, so perhaps a trip to a VERY GOOD machine shop in your area would be in order. I'd be shure your shop can turn a new one of THE CORRECT ROCKWELL HARDNESS, before I gave it to them. When I had Atwood jacks I used to occasionally break the lock pins and getting them from Atwood was a pain. I used to mike their diameter and go to my local hardware store for a twist drill of the correct size. Cut the shaft with a Dremel cut off wheel and use that. Hardness/toughness of a drill worked well. At least I never sheared one I had replaced.
