I purchased a new Atwood Range. When I look in the oven, a copper capillary tube comes out of the top, right hand side. I assume this is the oven temperature sensor. It just lays on the shelf in back. Is this normal? Is there now bracket to hold it out away from the metal surfaces? I can't find any documentation on this.
Thanks!

if its just laying on the baking rack then thats incorrect, they are usually attached with a clip that stands off the top about an 1/4 inch. Can you post a picture?

I will do that. There are no extra pieces in the oven, and I only see one hole where a clip might attach. Will get the picture tomorrow. Thanks for the reply!

As requested in my reply to your PM; what is the model of the range? Have you contacted Atwood about this yet?

Well, apparently there is a little clip that fits in the hole at the back of the oven that is not listed on parts diagram. It is "in the mail." Thanks, Atwood, for real help from a real person.
