Atwood tankless water heater

Hi guys,
2016 FW Southwind. After 5 months of trying to get a consistent shower the dealer thinks tha faucet in the shower is the problem. We already took out the resistors out of the shower head without any success for consistency in the water temp. So hopefully the dura single handle will fix this. It can deliver 2.2 gpm at 60 psi. Anybody who has the tankless water heater with similar problems stay tuned. We will hopefully have a fix to this problem.

The temperature of the water coming into the tankless heater will affect the hot water temp output.
Also, You may have to restrict the shower head flow so it does not exceed the tankless heaters output.

One of the most common complaints about tankless water heaters is that they don't always supply shower water of a consistent temperature.

I can't help with your issue. But your issue is exactly why I'd never consider a tankless water heater. Until someone figures out how to regulate input water temperature, I think tankless heaters will continue to disappoint.

Well I have one in fith wheel toy hauler for 2 years. At first in really did not work right. So I called? The said to do this. 1. Make shure you have the the red val set for the the are you are in ? High mountains, or low land? 2 do not put a water restrictions in it.3 hoy on full then just a little cold added? 4. When you setup each time at a new site. Start with out side water shower hot only, run until hot comes out. Then too the kitchen hot then to bathroom sink, then shower? Let them all get hot first.the Atwood
Ike's 2.2 to 3 gals pressure any hi higher it can't keep up on the hot side. Also if you you use cited water it might be way to cooled. We use the water tank on rv, will warm up faster. One thing that is a must is Donot use any water in the rv while you are taking a shower. No water any where. Then it will work. Just a learning curve on how to use it....good luck..
