Been pounding the pavement quit a bit over the past few weeks searching for a replacement for my burnt out Vectra and have begun to notice something quite common on coaches with replacement Atwood water heaters. The refridgerator service panel when mounted above the water heater is either partially melted or scorched or the fiberglass sidewall itself is distorted. Opening the water heater panels on all of these coaches reveals that the blowouts have been venting to various degrees into the water heater cabinet and that both the high and low limit switches are loose in their mounts. Just something to watch out for after having a water heater replaced or when purchasing a used coach.

Regards,
