Question Auto-lock on frig. door

On my 2008 Challanger, I have a mechanism that is suppose to automatically lock the frig when the truck is started. It is supposed to be wired to the truck alternator so that when the truck is turned off the gas to the frig will also be turned off and the door will unlock. Since this is not happening, the frig door will often come open when we travel. I've solved that problem with a small bungy cord that keeps the lock mechanism closed. I'd still like to make the mechanism work properly without putting a wire forward to the truck's alternator.

Any ideas?

Blown fuse? Switch inline somewhere? Have you visited the Thor brands forum? You might find that someone else has/had this exact same problem.
