I had a new awning installed about 2yrs ago. The brackets at the bottom of the support arms are coming loose and the screws will not tighten down. What is my next step in securing these brackets? Thank You, Mike.

Do you mean where the lag bolts go through the brackets and outer wall into the framing at the bottom of the wall? If so, I think it's one of those places where the wood framing deteriorates and the lag bolts tend to "turn in the wind". If by any luck you can access the rear of the wall where those lag bolts go through, exchange them for stainless stove bolts with nylok nuts so they will never undo. If that's not possible, you may have to resort to making or finding some form of "L" bracket that can also be attached from underneath the wall. I'm just about tempted to mig weld a couple of small support brackets perpendicular to the trailer frame rails that would provide extra support. Good luck.

Mike, the brackets should be at the floor line and longer and/or larger lag bolts should do the trick. Be sure to use a good sealant when installing the bolts to keep water out of the holes. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
