Battery Charging Issue

I have a 2000 Discovery with a RV Custom Products BCC. when it is plugged into shore power, after a short period of time 30-45 minutes the Aux start relays sounds like it is cycling on/off every 10 seconds or so. the Xantrex combi freedom 20 shows proper operation on charging and inverter side. if I turn on the front A/C it will shed 80% of the time unless I manually turn the Xantrex charger off, then it seems operate properly.
it also seems as if the coach batteries are over charging, but only by the smell and water loss.
any thoughts would be great, the Aux start relay is an Eaton 6041H105

Using a voltmeter on the house batteries, what is the charging voltage you find when the solenoid is cycling each time?

Using a voltmeter on the chassis/start batteries, what is the charging voltage you find when the solenoid is cycling each time?

When this is occurring are you noticing your AC power to the coach cycling on and off as well?

Are any lights (12v or 120v) inside becoming dim and then brighter?

Does your problem continue whether the Xantrex is on or off?

Does your problem continue while running on generator only?

the charging voltage at the house batteries is 12.6 (across 2 6v), Mains, 12.8

this does not seem to change when the solenoid cycles, although yesterday the solenoid quit cycling and seems to operate normally.

the AC power does not cycle, all seems to work well with the exception on the A/C shed, that seems to be directly correlated to the solenoid issue, as it is now working properly. no lights dim.

with the gen on, all seems to work properly including A/C.

the solenoid and shed issue I believe stopped when the charge button on the Xantrex is turned off manually

should the Xantex continue to run even when the batteries are charged, or should it cycle on/off
