Battery monitor question

Good evening everyone, quick question I just installed my vitron bmv700 got everything up and running but noticed something that seemed a bit off.

I have 2x6V 225mAh battery on my trailer which I set on the bmv. But it is saying my charger voltage is around 13.68 volts. Since a 6 volt is about 6.3 or so volts wouldn't 2 be about 12.7 volts? Should I drop this down on the bmv setup?

Thanks

How long has the charger been running ?

How old are the batteries ?

I wouldn't consider adjustments until the charger had been on for 24/36 hours, and a float charge, ( maintenance ) would be 13/13.2.

If your up in cold weather area 13.7 volts is a normal float voltage.

13.4 to 13.6 float voltage is a normal voltage at 77° F.

I just swapped old 12v lead acid battery for a pair of 6v 220ah AGM batteries. It took a few days for my trimetric to read full battery voltage and amperage to determine 100% charge.
