Are you sure you do not already have heating from your existing furnace into your tank bay areas?
You can install a battery operated remote temperture sensor in the bay area to indicator display up in your warm coach no need to run wires.

Remote digital thermometers are available at Wal Mart, Target, etc in the 10 to 15 dollar range. I have a few, and they work well - Unless you drop the outside sender. Trust me, I know.

A regular drop light with a 75 watt Rough Service bulb serves double duty - Light and heater.
