Best Transfer Switch

I have 50 Amp service in my Damon Outlaw and have a Progressive Dynamics transfer switch that may be going bad. I spoke with a tech today at Progressive and will try a few things tonight but if I need a replacement does anyone think there is one that is better than others?
I have read here Esco is good, overall I like Progressive Dynamics products but I am open to suggestions and input.

I replaced mine last summer, I purchased an ESCO LPT50BRD which interchanged nicely with my old transfer switch. I bought from Amazon , it is quiet and plays as advertised.

Thanks Randy, I spoke with Esco today and they said the BRD would be a quieter unit due to using a DC switch but my current wiring would probably be a better match for using the ES50M-65N. I guess I am down to using the same model Progressive since I know it fits or trying the ESCO.

That ESCO ES50M-65N is bulletproof. My coach is 11 years old and this is the OEM transfer switch. It has never had a problem and I never worry about cutting the load before switching power supplies. The switch is not really noisy. If you listen carefully right next to the switch you can hear a buzz.

I am going measure tonight and see if the Esco (it is slightly bigger then the Progressive) will fit because there seems to be a lot of positive feedback for that unit. The Progressive was fairly quiet until a few months ago when at some point it started a loud buzzing and could be heard even from inside the coach. It was shortly after that when the random clunking of the relay started occurring.

One thing to consider is the length of your wires in your electric bay and how they will enter the switch.

Thanks Randy, I am going to measure EVERYTHING twice tonight before deciding if I can change to the Esco because I certainly don't want to start messing with trying to change wires and at least I know the Progressive would be a direct swap.
