Best water filter FL Keys

In a couple of weeks we're heading for the Florida Keys and looking for advice on water filter cartridge choice. We have a whole coach water filter and don't mind changing a cartridge if it makes a difference. Thanks in advance.

Don't know if anyone builds a BEST water filter for all types of conditions. I have just tried to be reasonable and pick a filter that does a reasonable job under most conditions. If you expect super filtration you will need a reverse osmosis system (RO). That is what we use in our S&B home with well water. In the MH we just use a 5 micron filter although they make them down to 1/2 micron. The tighter the filter material the better the filter and the higher the price. Normally in an RV park they have guide lines for a water supply since it is a public system therefore doubt you need a really super duper filter. A charcoal filter will take out chlorine if you don't like that in your water.

We've been in the Keys since Sept 1st and the water is good here. Regardless, we always have a sediment filter and a charcoal filter in the water system. I would suggest reading the info on this web site:

http://www.rvwaterfilterstore.com/

I usually buy a quantity of filters from these folks. You can buy a little cheaper from one of the big box stores but they have a limited selection.

All water in the keys is pumped to them.
No wells in the keys as they would only get salt water.

All fresh water source for the Keys
