(I have auto levelers factory installed on a 3 month old 5th wheel.)

I've got a call into the BF emergency number but I don't know how often they check in the middle of the night on a weekend.

I woke up to strange noises and motion. When I went outside I found the rear jacks had partially retracted and the motor was running constantly but the panel was dead. I turned the batteries on hoping I could get power to the panel though I'm not sure why. As soon as I did that the front jacks started retracting too. Things stopped in the nick of time when I turned the batteries back off and pulled the plug on the converter.

The front is too low to get the truck under now and I don't have any way to raise it. I'm afraid what will happen if I restore power. Anybody know how I can get these front jacks down or, at least keep them where they are if I restore power?

Its cold, dark and rainy but fortunately I'm parked next to my vacant house so at least I could get inside and turn the furnace on. This is not a good way to wake up.

I have the manual but I now see it gives a different emergency number than the one I got from the recording on their main number. I'll try it too.

It seems like all the troubleshooting tips in the manual and around the forums are for when the jacks won't come down, not when they won't stay down.

I now know what it must be like to wake up in an earth quake with the room moving.

Finally tried the Florida number (800) 699-6680, from there I got the cell number for somebody named Roy. He knew his stuff and was very nice about being bugged on a Sunday morning.

After following some wires and pulling the control panel we found water where it shouldn't have been. He said the control panel may be ok when it dries out or I might need a new one. In either case, I have a leak to track down. There never was anything wrong with Bigfoot, it doesn't claim to be waterproof.

For the record, its now been over 30 hours since my first of several calls to the BF "emergency" number and nothing.
