You really need to cehck the amp draw on the compressor to see if it is running with a load or not. No refrigerant ...low amp draw or a bad compressor. lao look fro oily spots on the lines and solder joints. Oily spots on the lines = low refrigerant.

A start capacitor will not help on this issue.

Sounds like a bad compressor or low refrigerant, but you really need to check the compressor amp draw.

When I had the cover off and after I blew out all the dirt and dust I looked for oily or wet spots and up top and I could find none. I'll check the amp draw when I get the chance to work on it again but that may be a few days though. I'll let you know what I find out. Thanks
