I had two of the cyclone vents on a previous coach and was quite happy with them. May look at the new ones Clay L mentioned for our latest coach due to the no moving parts being more reliable over the long term.

Thank you both. I am concerned about the moving parts. I think I will return the unopened cyclone.

I have a "moving parts" variety. Installed 2 months ago, I highly recommend. I think you'll find them highly recommended on this forum.

Has anyone actually had a failure of the rotating type?

I have not heard of one but I am just not familiar with the product. Thank you.

Just replaced both of mine. Sun finally got to them. Very easy job. Works great. I think mine were 6 years old.
