Cameras

My previous RV were gas A's with black and white back up cameras. This diesel RV has side and rear cameras with a color, flat screen monitor. During daylight hours it is beautiful but get to dusk and night driving the cameras are useless until a vehicles with headlights on gets into the camera covered area. Is this normal or is something wrong with the cameras/monitor? I have made all sorts of adjustments to the monitor including day/night setting, brightness setting and contrast.

Good question... I guess just to boost the purchase price. I bought it used and now having them would never pay for them on a coach I purchased new... which will never happen.

My guess would to check if the Infrared lights on the cameras are working? Usually see a circle of LED lights around the camera lens, this is what is suppose to give you night lighting.
To check, turn on the coach camera and hold your phone up to it in the camera mode. You should see light coming from the emitters, something you can't see with the naked eye. My cameras show up great in the dark, can see the toad just fine.

Try and live up to your dogs opinion of you.
