I installed the RV Macerator Pump & RV Waste Disposal Accessories (Clean Dump) system in my MH, the best upgrade I have ever made.! I chose it because of the hose and the fittings used.

We are using a SaniCon portable system with gray water bypass. Really love the simplicity.

Open valve, turn on pump, empty tank, close valve. Also have a built-in tank cleaner to get it clean. A clear 90 lets me see when I get clear water. We pump 40' all the time.

Used a trailer wire plug to get it powered. 12 volt fuse box for rv was in the next bay with an empty buss. Ran wire and plug ends on wires and macerator. Only plugs in one way.

This setup lets me use it on our son's rv if he needs to pump.

I use the sani-con portable system when at our camp (I still use the 4" gravity hose otherwise for the big swoosh clean out) to pump into a tank which later gets cleaned out. Beside that fact that the hose supplied leaked the very first time I used it, it works well. I use a 75' garden hose so I didn't need the leaking hose anyway. We do not have water at camp (I carry 90 gallons) so I am not able to use my tank wash system therefore I was very please with the paper that came with the system that discussed a dump process the would more thoroughly clean the black tank:

1.dump black tank per directions
2.shut sani-con off
3. w/ black tank still open, open grey tank. Gravity will make the grey water flow into the blank tank until tanks levels are equalized (if you have a grey water bypass it should be off)
4. close grey valve (leave black valve open)
5. turn sani-con back on
6. repeat

It is somewhat surprising how much "material" (mostly paper) is still in the black tank and comes out after I add grey water and dump again (I use a clear 4" extension from coach valve to sani-con). I am able to get it pretty clean by the time I repeat the above process a couple of times. The one thing I did note though is if I do not listen well, the black tank can leach into the grey tank and move some material to the grey tank so I close the grey tank valve as soon as it sounds like the water is equalized and stopped moving.

We have hit the road on a 6 to 8 month traveling visit to see kids and grandkids. I am remote working from the road. Several stops along the first leg.

I modified the dump bay with an external hose hook up for macerator out line. Clear 90 to see tank discharge. Built-in tank cleaner.

Cap off, hose on, dump black, clean, re-dump, close. Dump gray, close. Un hook hose and store. Cap on.

Macerator is the bomb! No muss, no fuss! Can dump anywhere now.
