The Batteries for the coach interior lights don't charge when hooked to the electrical power. Problem started a few days ago. Call tech support they told me to reset the circuit breaker under the hood. Tried that no help. Lights go down in a matter of hours even hooked to 50 amp service. Any advice? 2006 Hurricane 34N

You most likely have a problem with the converter/charger. Make sure all 120 volt circuit breakers are on and not trippped off. Next check to be sure all GFCI receptacles are good. Check the voltage at the battery while plugged in or generator is running; it should be about 13.8 v DC. Check the fusers in the 12 volt distribution panel. You could have a free standing charger or converter/charger with 120 volt and 12 volt distribution panels all in one. If you have a stand alone charger it could be located away from the circuit breakers and fuse panel. Try to loo behind this panel, under drawers, in outside compartments. Once you find it look on the back for 30 amp fuses. Make sure they are good. Check the receptacle it is plugged into to verify it has power. check teh wiring on the out put of the charger. If you have 120 volt AC going in, good fuses and no DC volts coming out of the charger then teh charger is bad and wil have to be replaced.
If you do have 13.8 volts coming out but it is not reaching the battery bank then you have either a wiring problem or the house battery disonnect is not closed. Let me know what you find.
