I have a 2007 Itasca Cambria. Last month on our first trip for the season it stopped cooling. It seemed to try to recycle every 20 to 30 seconds. The CB did not pop. I have emailed RVP to identify the brand and model (I have the model number but I can't seem to identify the actual name based on it for replacement purposes) and to ask for help in repair, however it is 6 months out of warranty. My question is: should I have contacted Winnebago directly? And is there a chance for some financial help?

Some of the Coleman RVP air conditioners have been experiencing a start capacitor failure. The part number used to fix the compressor start problem is 8333 A 9021. The kit contains a starting capacitor, the PCTR (a small square device) and a couple of jumper wires with spade connectors on the ends. Not sure your model is involved but it might be worth checking out.

Thanks Richard,

I replaced the run capacitor with no change. I will order a start kit and see if that helps. I appreciate you quick response.

Al
