Coleman thermostat has no power

A little background. A few weeks ago we were plugged into shore power with a power surge protector and it blew. Got back to rv and furnace was still running so we kicked it off and got power back to the rv. Drove home, turned off coach and put in storage.

Next trip (a few weeks later), we drive to a KOA and hook everything up. Eventually turn on the thermostat for heat. Notice that it's not kicking on. Try to turn the fan on, nothing. Turn it to AC, nothing. Check the breaker inside and fuzes, all ok. Call tech support and they said to turn off coach, unplug it from shore, wait 4 minutes and then turn it back on. Still nothing. Use the space heater for remainder of trip. Drove home and parked it.

Came back next day to clean and used the generator. For giggles, tried the furnace and IT worked. Great. Take it to storage and turn off coach.

Get a new coach battery today and was putting things in for a trip we are fixing to leave on. It's a little warm for decide to turn on the fan. NOTHING AGAIN. Check breakers, fuzes...try it on the generator, nothing. Luckily its not suppose to be too hot or cold. I called the dealer (its a 2015 model that we just bought new 4 months ago) and they didn't have any ideas.

It is hard wired into the wall, so no way to "unplug" it. Anyone else had this problem?

If it's only 4 months old, shouldn't it be covered under a new vehicle warranty? I wouldn't let the dealer get away with "no ideas". What a lame excuse.

If you put your make, model, and modifications in your signature, you'd likely get more answers from people who own the same rig you have. That way, you wouldn't have to type it in every time.
